Paul B for Model Number MVWC300VW1 My Maytag Centennial works fine except for when it goes to spin while draining. The motor's working and it "sounds" like it's spinning, but it doesn't move. Only when I lift up the lid and close it again does the tub start spinning. I had an appliance guy out to repair it for these symptoms and he supposedly replaced the switch yet I still have the problem. Help??
Answer Paul, You will want to pull and check the clutch for wear. If the clutch looks good then the issue is in the gearcase which would need to be replaced part number 3360629. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 26, 2013
