Tyler for Model Number mfI2569VEM My vegetables are freezing. I did replace the thermistor in the refrigerator. It did not fix the problem. I noticed the wire nuts are not threaded so I wound the wires together, capped them with the wire nut and used electrical tape to hold them on. I assume the chances are very small of another bad thermistor. For my model, is the next logical step to replace the control board? Thank you
Answer Hello Tyler, You should first try setting the fresh food compartment to a Colder setting to increase air circulation. If this does not correct the issue in the next 24 hours, the control board WPW10310240 should be replaced. As a note, to use a wire nut correctly, hold the two wires beside one another without twisting and twist the wire nut onto the wires. This can be seen on utube videos if needed. Read More...
