Butch for Model Number WRF767SDEM01 Two year old refrigerator. Refrigerator coil iced up completely. The refrigerator has been repaired twice under warranty they replaced the coil thermistor. Why should the thermistors go bad so often. Before I replace it again is there something else I should look for? What is the part number for the thermistor?
Answer Butch, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty control board or thermistor. It would be recommended to check the thermistor for the resistance of 2.7K at 77 degrees. If the resistance is bad then the thermistor will be part number W11033168. If the thermistor checks ok then the issue will be a faulty control board. Read More...
