Answer Hello Julian. The thermistor reads the temperature of the refrigerator. If the temperature is to cold or to warm inside the refrigerator, then the thermistor could be bad. You can test the thermistor and see if it is bad. Here is a chart to go by. Thermistor Temperature Resistance 77°F..................10,000 ohms 36°F..................29,500 ohms 0°F....................86,300 ohms You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1.
