Ken for Model Number WZF56R15DW00 Our Whirlpool freezer sounds the same tone at the end of the compressor cycle as it does when power is restored. It does this at the end of every running cycle. Since it seems to otherwise be functioning normally, I am at a loss about this but it must mean something(?) Thanks,
Answer Hello Ken, first, check the electrical outlet the freezer is plugged into that the line cord plug is tight, using a multimeter check the voltage at the outlet, is it steady around 120v or does it drop under load once the compressor starts, (low would be under 105v) ,if all checks ok the control board would need to be replaced part W11382528.
