Kirk for Model Number 106.51335710 My refrigerator is 60 degrees and the freezer is 21. There is frost on the back wall so I took back wall off and found evaporator iced up like it has not gone into defrost. Heater ohms out good. What other components may need to be replaced?
Answer Kirk, the defrost thermal fuse [W10911770] harness would need to be tested for continuity by using the white wire at the liner connection to the white wire going to the defrost heater. The same will be done for the brown wire. If there is not continuity, the wire harness would need to be replaced.
