Jan N for Model Number WZF34X16DW00 Thank you for answering my prior question regarding the location of the thermistor. I found it. My problem is that the temperature in my Whirlpool upright freezer will not go below 17 degrees F. Do you think I should start by replacing the thermistor or is there another faulty part that may be causing this? Thanks.
Answer Jan N, If the unit is running and just getting down to temperature then you will likely have a defrost or a sealed system type issue. If the unit turns off before getting down to temperature then it could be a thermistor or a control issue. The thermistor can be checked for proper resistance with a multimeter. Read More...
