Ron for Model Number kgst307hbt5 I am having trouble with the oven not coming to temp quickly, and also is not maintaining temp. Troubleshooting shows that even though the igniter glows brightly, it is only registering 2.1vac at the gas valve (which is rated for 3-3.3vac). If I tap on the gas valve it will open and the gas ignites properly and shuts off properly when it reaches temp. The broiler seems to work properly with only 2.2vac. Although it does zero out, i am wondering if my digital meter is accurate. I think it would open if there were a little more current. Is there a way to adjust the voltage going to/through the igniters/valve? A second issue is the temp probe display sometimes flashes/beeps on and off as the oven heats up when not using the probe.
Answer Hello Ron. It sounds like the igniter is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, September 3, 2013
