I did request a replacement part for p/n 9759944 thrmst-fix and the new one I received does not show continuity across the terminals. This is the second one I received is it possible that two of them in a row can be defective? Thanks for your help.
Answer Hello John, In review of the wiring diagram for the model you listed, it appears that the part you are receiving is the thermal switch for the fan motor. This means that it will remain open until it reaches a predetermined temperature. It will then remain closed until it cools to a lower predetermined temperature.
