Barry for Model Number KGSS907SSS00 Hi, I have a similar question to one that was posted but a slightly different model. We ran the KitchenAid oven on self clean and it stopped near the end of the cycle. Oven display went blank door remained locked. I replaced the thermostatic fix on the back of the oven, (part no 9759242), no change, I opened the front of the panel looking for another thermal fuse, I don't have a continuity tester. Two similar thermostatic fix components, part numbers 9759944 and 9757807, are located behind the display. I bypassed the 9759944 and the fan comes on, I understand that this circuit needs to reach a certain temp to activate the fan, Bypassing 9757807 does nothing. Do I need to test the continuity of these two parts? Is there another thermal fuse in the control panel area? Thanks Barry
Answer Barry, Bypassing the fan thermal will allow the fan to come on. You will want to do a continuity test on the other thermostat to make sure that there is continuity. If this checks ok then this issue will most likely be a faulty control board for the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 24, 2017
