Leslie P. for Model Number Dacor EF42BDCBSS (2007) My freezer is not chilling as low it is supposed to (25-28 deg F instead of zero). I ran the diagnostics and Service Test 05 told me that my evaporator thermistor was an open circuit. I confirmed this with Service Test 23. Problem is, when I search for an evaporator thermistor, I'm given the part number for every other thermistor on my refrigerator. No one knows a part called an "evaporator thermistor". I was told it may be called a "defrost thermostat". Does this sound right?
