Randy for Model Number 11086873800 In reference to part #61894, which is part of a two-piece operating thermostat with part #660039 (or WP694674), how does this part function? I get no change on the voltmeter when measuring ohms across the prongs of this part. Is this normal? Just don't understand... this part does not contain any kind of cylinder to house a switch, how is it important as part of the "operating thermostat"?
Answer Randy, This thermostat WP61894 is a thermostat heater and should have a resistance to it of around 10K ohms so make sure that you are setting the meter correctly. If it has no resistance then it is faulty and will need replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 13, 2018
