Stretch for Model Number ice maker in whirlpool fridge My ice maker makes ice, drops ice and cycles. But it only makes maybe 2 pounds of ice a day. My freezer is set on zero degrees and the water level is correct, not too high. Could it be a bad thermostat? The unit is only 1 month old.
