Joe B. for Model Number Kenmore fridge 106.58782890 Thermostat control top of R hand door inside. When I set it on 4.5, it keeps it at about 32 degrees. When I try to lower it (to get a slightly warmer temp), compressor shuts off and won't start again unless I turn the thermostat off and turn it back to 4.5. I assume the thermostat is underneath the panel attached to the dial, right? Doesn't it sound like I need a new thermostat? Need help soonest. Thanks.
