  • May cause intermittent heating or frequent cycling as the unit warms and cools
What's included: One thermostat. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and allow the appliance to cool completely; shut off gas supply if applicable
  • Access the thermostat, note/photograph wire positions, and transfer wires one at a time to the new part
  • Mount securely against the proper surface/bracket so the sensor has good contact
  • Restore power and test operation; if issues persist, diagnose related heating components per the service manual

Hello John. You will need to test the thermostats and the flame sensor and make sure they are good. They should read closed for continuity. Also, check the igniter to see if it is good. If it is not glowing, test for power. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter for the testing procedures. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
