Doreen for Model Number kuws246ebl2 I have a kitchen aid wine cooler, but it is not keeping cold. The light is on and the motor is running, and there is some condensation on the back of the unit. Do I need a new thermostat or a new compressor? Please let me know. Thank you, Doreen
Answer Hello Doreen. Check and see if the compressor is running on the unit. If not, and there is power to it, then the compressor is bad. You can test for power out of the thermostat to see if it is good or bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
