FC, You will want to check the venting of the unit to make sure that the venting is not clogged which could cause a overheating issue. Also check the blower wheel to make sure that there is nothing clogging it. If this checks ok then you will want to check anything that can cause excessive drag on the motor that will cause the motor to overheat and shut off. If the motor overheats and stops but will restart after cooling down then this will be the most likely cause. If the unit has shut off completely and will not restart at all then the issue will be cause by possibly a blown thermal fuse on the blower housing.
