Alex for Model Number LGR8648PW0 We normally use automatic dry mode on and noticed that it doesn't move past less dry. Clothes are dry but it keeps running. Tried timed drying with no issues. Without it running I can turn dial in timed drying and fluff air but in auto dry I have resistance when I turn it to between energy preferred and less dry. I cleaned out dryer venting. Seems and feels like it is the timer. Also read it could be cycling thermostat or dryer ignition coils or thermal fuse. I would like to order the correct part or parts. If you can please steer me in the right direction it will be greatly appreciated. Any other info needed please let me know and thanks.
Answer Alex, With there being resistance on the timer between energy preferred and less dry it sounds like the contact for the timer may be faulty. The timer part number is WP8299766. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 12, 2015
