David for Model Number ATW4475XQ0 I have messed with this washer so much that I've almost forgotten the original problems. It stopped washing but would rinse and spin. The timer would not advance but when physically put on "rinse", it would rinse, spin and stop at the "off" spot on dial. Then it stopped doing anything altogether. I installed a water inlet valve and a timer. I've blown out the hose with my mouth. I did not find water, kinks or holes in the hose. This is what is happening now: hot water does not enter the machine, only cold. The hose is hooked up and is turned on. I have to manually pop the little screw on water level switch to change from small, medium or large (sometimes this works). Timer does not advance at beginning, it still has to be physically put on rinse which advances to spin and then off. Here's the weirdest part: it's washing on spin for about 5 min, then rinsing and then spinning until off position. I'm thinking it could be water level switch assembly and/or the temperature switch. At a loss and tired or throwing $$ at it. I'm the only male in the household and the situation is intense.
Answer Hello David. It sounds like both the water level switch and the temp switch has failed and will need to be replaced. The issues seem to point to both of these parts. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 16, 2017
