Gary for Model Number GHW9150PW0 My old tub bearing outside the tub has a raised boss about 1/4" above the tub plastic. Inside the boss is a snap ring. The boss has a section cut out where there is a screw. The new tub does not have this boss and the bearing housing is flush with the tub. There is no snap ring holding the bearing. There is a hole for a screw same as the old. Is this difference a problem? Do I need a spacer behind the bearing between the hub and pulley? Also the is a metal wire clip inside the rear outer drum. It is shown on the right of the picture in the square shape part of the tub. What is this for? The old tub did not have it or it was knocked out by the failed basket.
Answer Hello Gary. W10772617 is the correct outer tub for the unit. You should not need a spacer if you install all of the parts properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 17, 2014
