Will I have a maytag stove/oven that is about 18 months old and already replaced the following parts: timer console (where I key in the time/temp), spark igniter (inside up by the keypad), thermostat/sensor (inside the oven), open gas valve assembly unit. What else could be causing the issue? thanks. What is happening is after about 15 to 20 minutes the oven will not stay on. You can hear the spark igniter light the gas but then it will just go out. So either I have to up the temperature setting (example from 350 to 375) and it will stay until it reaches the 375 and then it will do the same thing, or let the oven cool down then use it for 15 minutes again.
Answer Hello Will. You will want to make sure you have enough gas pressure coming into the house. Sounds like the issue has to do with pressure to the unit. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 24, 2011
