Lance for Model Number GS465LEKS0 I have recently bought a Super Capacity 465 gas range as a temporary replacement but the burners' flames seem to be too high. It is using natural gas so I'm confused on why the flames would be too high. Would the valve possibly be allowing too much gas or is there something else that could affect the burners' flames. The flames are a couple inches high and uneven. I tried putting a 10" cast iron skillet on one to see how the flame acts and it was high enough it spread around the lower 1/2" of the skillet. I'd like to narrow down the cause before I buy the parts to attempt a repair.
Answer Hello Lance. Check and see if the unit has been converted and if you are using the proper gas for the unit. If not, that is the issue with the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 12, 2013
