Richard for Model Number Whirlpool SF362LXSQ0 The oven and broil sections of my oven will not fire up. The top burners work fine but when I select bake or broil, I don't hear any of the normal clicks and no gas. I checked the continuity of the gas valve with the wires removed and did not get any readings(between middle terminal and top terminal and middle terminal and bottom terminal). Would it be the gas valve or the spark module? Thanks
Answer Richard, You should have a reading of 215 ohms resistance from the center terminal to either of the outside terminals of the gas valve. Based on your post information, both gas valve solenoids are defective, and the valve WPW10293048 will need to be replaced. Read More...
