Eric for Model Number SF262LXSB0 I have a Whirlpool Gas range SF262LXSB0 top burners lite oven section will not! Neither the bake or the broil spark igniter would spark. So I replace the spark module after that both would spark but still the oven would not light, after a couple tries both spark igniter's stop working again. I then with further inspection discovered by testing the solenoids on the shut off valve I get 199 ohms across one and nothing across the other, so there's my problem!! My question is why did the igniters stop sparking again is it because of the failed solenoid ? did or can it ruin my new spark module ??
Answer Eric, In most cases the reason the igniters stop sparking is due to the solenoid being faulty if the spark module is good. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 8, 2014
