Rich for Model Number SF462LXSB The oven will not light. The burners light and function properly.The oven ignitor is clicking and producing spark.There is a faint smell of gas,but the oven will not light? I'm thinking gas valve?
Answer Rich, You will want to check the oven safety valve for 216O of resistance between bake and common terminals. If there is not proper resistance then the valve is faulty and would need to be replaced. If this checks ok then you will want to check the burner for clogs or rust around the ports at this could cause a bad gas flow and cause the oven to not ignite. Read More...
