Lynnette I replaced the gas regular on my LP whirlpool free standing gas range. the oven works but I causes my carbon monoxide alarm to go off. I turned the orifice on the valve to LP. what am I doing wrong?
Answer Lynnette, You didn't supply a model number, but you also didn't mention installing the top burner LP orifice hoods or adjusting the bake and broil burner hoods. There's more to a LP gas conversion than just flipping the regulator cap. If your stove has a storage drawer, remove it and check to see if the conversion parts and instructions are in the bag attached to the back side of the drawer. If not repost and attach a model number and we can assist you with parts and instructions. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, July 5, 2013
