Ned for Model Number SXD23VE I am not getting water to the ice maker, how do I check to see if the secondary water valve is working properly?
Answer Hello Ned. Remove the water line from the bottom of the valve and cycle the icemaker. Test for power coming to the valve during the cycle. It will only be there for a few seconds toward the end of the harvest cycle. If there is power, and no water comes out, and the filter is good, replace the water valve WP12544101. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
