Roger Gonzales for Model Number mvwc465hwo My water fill did not cycle off when the tub filled. The water continued to overflow and flooded my laundry room. I was told that I need a new water valve assembly. does that sound correct? Which part do I need to purchase to fix this?
Answer Roger, If you had to shut the water off at the wall to get the water to stop then yes the valve would be the issue. The valve part number is W11210459. If the water shut off when the unit was powered off and did not have to shut off at the wall then check the pressure switch hose to make sure that it did not come loose from the tub and that it is not clogged. If it is not then the issue will be the control board that is faulty. The control board part number is W11218739. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 2, 2021
