Gordon for Model Number KUDS01XX The dishwasher makes a "machine gun" noise as it is filling. I read a couple of web sites that said the fill selenoid likely needs to be replaced. Anyone agree? Thoughts on what to check before I order this $41 dollar part?
Answer Hello Gordon, Everytime I encountered this complaint it turned out to be air in the plumbing. I would consult with a plumber before replacing any parts so as not to waste your time and money. Then, if you don't get it solved through that route, I would check to make sure the valve is getting a constant 120Vac. It could be a relay on a control board. Good luck! Read More...
