Karen for Model Number GU1500XTKQ0 If the water inlet valve is bad would that keep the impellers from going to wash the dishes? We are getting some water in the washer to start but then it is not getting thrown around to wash the dishes. Any other ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!
Answer Hello Karen, If the water inlet valve is bad and the unit isn't filling to a proper fill level, this would indeed cause the spray arms to be deprived of the water pressure necessary to spin them and perform a proper wash. The other two things that could cause the issue is a stopped up screen in the pump and motor assembly, or a pump impeller damaged or wrapped in a piece of debris that inadvertently made its' way into the unit.
