D. for Model Number MDBE790AWW We were going to replace our old Maytag for a newer dishwasher and it stayed outside for about a month. Changed our mind on the new one, and decided to keep it and set it up, but now it leaks from the front. It ran fine before, but now, when t's running, it's leaking from the stem of the float onto the water level actuator through the stem that's inside the water tub. I called your team and was told it's the water inlet valve, so I ordered it but since I'm not having any issues with water not coming in, I'm thinking it might be something else causing the leak. Please advise...
Answer Hello D. You need to check and see if the float is stuck. If not, then test the float switch to see if it is working properly. If so, then replace the valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
