John C. for Model Number MDB 665OAWS-MAYTAG DISH WASHER Hello, I have no water fill. The resistance of the water inlet valve is 1000 ohms. The float is free and float switch checks out ok I dont see an internal line water filter that may be clogged. Please help!
Answer Hello John, The resistance of the water valve WP99001359 doesn't tell you if the valve physically opens internally so, I would replace it if it isn't passing the water. I would check for ac voltage at the water inlet valve electrical terminals. If it doesn't get voltage, it will never open. If it does get voltage, the valve is bad.
