Hello Michael. You will need to check the float switch and make sure it is moving freely up and down. Check the switch as well and make sure it reads correctly. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html If it is working properly, then you will need to check and see what the water level is inside the dishwasher. It should fill near the bottom of the heating element. If it is low, you may need to replace the water valve. Hope this helps.
