Tom for Model Number MDB7100AWW When the wash cycle is complete, there is a tub full of water. When I run the drain cycle it takes the water out then immediately starts filling it again (ugh!!). If I leave the door open it is fine. So the redneck solution has been but a dish cloth in the door to keep it from refilling. Could this be the inlet valve being bad? Thanks for your help!! Tom
Answer Hello Tom! If the water that is filling in the tub is clean water, it will be a valve WP99001359 issue. If it is dirty water filling the tub, it will be some sort of plumbing issue where the water is backing up back into the dishwasher. Since the problem only occurs with the door closed you will need to check the valve using a volt meter MA-DM1. Check to see if you are getting 120V to the valve with the door closed and the unit off, if you are, then you will have a problem elsewhere. Hope this information helps! Thanks. Read More...
