Enrico for Model Number RBS275PDQ14 Replaced the bake element, still not working, just a little warm. Should I replace the thermal fuse p/n: 9759243? It's an in cabin Whirlpool electric oven, Thanks for your help.
Answer Hello Enrico. Pull the oven out and remove the back cover. Test the fuse WP9759243 and see if the fuse is open. If so, you will need to replace the fuse. If it is good, and there is 240 volts coming to the oven, you will need to replace the control WP8302994. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
