Gerry S. for Model Number A612 When spinning, the washer has begun to vibrate moving the machine about. Leveling does not seem to help. I noticed that the agitator wobbles a little.with the filter removed, it appears to wobble. When I went to remove the screw at the bottom it fell out into the tub. It appears to be broken off from the part of the screw in the unit. Only less than a quarter inch with the head. I agitator may have worked loose over the years. How do you suggest getting the old out and replacing it. Could this be causing the vibration. I noticed my wife leaning on it to minimize the vibration. Please, Thank You. Gerry
Answer Hello Gerry. Here is what the screw should look like 22001423. It is around 1/2" in length. They are very short. You will need to check and see if the dampers 203956 are bad. If so, it will cause the problem you are having. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, February 9, 2012
