John for Model Number LSQ9544KQ0 It is a Whirlpool washing machine. Model number LSQ9544KQ0. Problem is when it goes into the final spin the water will be running in like it is in the rinse cycle. Needless to say the clothes come out soaking wet. We have been shutting the water off at the spigot but it is hard on my wife . After reading all the Q & A on your site I think it might be the water value. Help save my marriage and the cost of a new washer. Thanks
Answer Hello John. Test and see if there is power coming to the water valve 285805 during the spin cycle. If there is no power, and water is coming in, you will need to replace the water valve. However, if there is power there, then you may have a bad timer WP3951702 and the timer may need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
