Scott P for Model Number HYE2460AYW I noticed that the dryer had stop running and smelt a burning smell. I opened it and checked the lent collector and it hadn't been cleaned. I cleaned it and let it cool off but still does not work ?
Answer Scott, With the issue that you are having, this issue would most likely be caused by a faulty thermal fuse. You can test the thermal fuse which is located on the heater housing for continuity and if it does not have continuity then the thermal is ban and you would need to replace part number LA-1053.
