John for Model Number Whirlpool LER5636JQ8 Video for replacement of heating element was great and believe re-inserted the thermistor correctly, but no heat when turned on. The dryer drum rotated so not an electrical problem to the dryer. Assuming that the new heater element is OK, what else could be wrong and how do we (I) fix it.
Answer Hello John. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity.
