Will repairing a broken heating element cause my dryer to stop working? It will not turn on the light comes on but will not turn on. Will replacing the element solve this problem?

Answer

Hello James. You will need to test the thermal fuse and the door switch. They should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
