Michael for Model Number ler4634eq0 I am checking the resistance of the heater element, and it is reading about 10 ohms. Is this not too low and does it show that the element is bad?
Answer Hello Michael. The heater should read 30 to 40 ohms, but that does not mean the heater is bad. If there is 240 volts coming to the heater, and it does not heat, then replace the heater. If there is not 240 volts to the heater, you have other issues with the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
