Answer Paige, does 0 indicate a " closed" circuit on your meter ? if so, then you need to check the element 279838 for a "closed" circuit across the two element terminals with the wires off. and then check for 240 VAC across the terminals with the wires attqched and the dryer running in a heat cycle.
