Chuck for Model Number TEDX640PQ0 appliance is heating fine until I install the drum, and once I do, the element will not turn on. Checked for continuity, and all seemed fine. Any suggestions?
Answer Chuck, That doesn't make a lot of sense, unless you're loosing the heat circuit (1M to 2M) at the motor switch, due to a "drag" or issue from the tumbler or belt. You may have to run a voltage check on all the wires, and components while the dryer is running, with and without the belt, until you find where the power loss to the element occurrs.
