Bruiser for Model Number leq8000jq4 I purchased a new heating element and hi limit thermostat for this model. The repair videos show three wires, two red and an orange in the middle. I don't have an orange wire, only two red. No wire placement combinations appear to work.
Answer Hello Bruiser, The small spade red wire connects to the thermostat and the large spade connect to the right spade of the heater. If you have connected this way and still not heating then you want to check your thermal cut off 279816 to make sure you have continuity through it.
