Rob for Model Number LER7646DZ0 My Whirlpool dryer has stopped heating up. I replaced the element, which I ordered from you. (great service, by the way). It still does not heat up. I'm getting full power to the unit. My question is, what should I replace next?
Answer Rob, You will want to check the thermal fuse 279816 and will check it for continuity. If the thermal fuse does not have continuity then you will need to replace it. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
