This is a genuine OEM replacement auger drive belt for a snowblower. The auger is the part of a snowblower that jostles snow up into the appliance and then out the chute. It rotates thanks to a system of pulleys and belts. This drive belt is one of the belts responsible for transferring rotational motion from one pulley to another. It helps to turn the auger axle. Drive belts are made of a rubber compound that may begin to fray over time and after repeated use. When a drive belt snaps, the auger will stop turning, and the broken belt should be visible.
