This is an air cleaner cartridge produced by Briggs & Stratton and functional in their engines along with those made by Toro, Simplicity, and Snapper. Any air filter is meant to block dirt and debris from passing from the outside of the engine and into the carburetor and engine. It is a powerful filter, made of foam and paper that will capture and pre-filter air necessary for the function of the combustion engine. To make the repair is easy and requires only a screwdriver. Remove the filter cover by removing the screws. Take out the original cartridge and replace it with the new one before returning the cover. This filters ships individually without any additional parts or components.
