If the rocker switch is no longer functioning and not turning the engine on and off as intended, it might need to be replaced. While replacing a rocker switch may seem like a difficult task, it is actually a simple fix.To replace the rocker switch, pry it off using a flathead screwdriver. Once removed from the mower, unplug the wire harness attached to it. Once unplugged, replace with the new switch. Snap the switch back into its original position and test if it has been installed correctly.
