This temperature sensor monitors internal temperature and relays it to the control so heating or cooling can be regulated. Replacing a faulty sensor helps restore accurate temperature control, consistent cycling, and dependable performance. What it does

  • Measures compartment or cavity temperature and sends a signal to the control
  • Helps the unit reach and maintain the set temperature
  • Common failure symptoms: temperature too hot/cold vs. setting, long/short cycling, failure to reach setpoint, or related error codes
  • Tests out-of-range for resistance/ohms when defective
