This genuine Midwest Engine fuel line controls the flow of fuel into the carburetor, where it combines with the airflow through a series of valves in order to ignite and start the engine. The fuel line of a small engine outdoor appliance might have to be replaced if there is damage that hampers the ability of the fuel line to connect to the carburetor and provide it with the gas it has to combine with air in the proper ratio. Fuel lines are most likely to withstand damage from flying debris, dirt, pebbles, and other such small materials that can get sucked in and accumulate in the engine. Fuel lines can also undergo damage in the form of punctures, tears, rips, and erosion to the material such that fuel cannot pass through it without leaking. This damage will necessitate the removal and replacement of the fuel line before using the appliance again. Remember to always wear gloves when handling, repairing, and operating outdoor equipment. This fuel line is compatible with the following brands: Midwest Engine, Briggs & Stratton, and Simplicity. It can be used as a replacement part for the small engines of outdoor appliances such as lawn tractors, lawn tractors, snowblowers, wood chippers, leaf blowers, tillers, and edgers. This part is sold individually.
